How to remove the affiliate tag from Amazon links
On Amazon the affiliate ID is the tag= value. On amazon.com it ends in -20, which Amazon adds to every Associates ID. The tag doesn't change the price. It decides who gets the commission.

What the tags mean
| Tag | What it is |
|---|---|
tag | Affiliate ID (Amazon Associates) |
linkCode linkId | How the affiliate link was made |
ascsubtag | The affiliate's own sub ID, often one per post or video |
ref= crid qid sr | Where on Amazon you clicked, and the search you came from |
Other Amazon stores work the same way. Their tags end differently, like -21 on amazon.co.uk.
